Tears of Joy :') - 19/12/12

I'm at the front row, the one in green (lol)

So, i made it! It's the best day ever! My favorite day and favorite month of 2012!! I couldn't process it at first when the teacher announced my name as one of the 8As students in the hall full of people. There was press too. I was really scared that my name might not be announced. Because why? Because i did horribly in PMR. The result was announced at 11 a.m. I arrived at school at 10.30 and was crying because i was nervous. Like, very nervous. I was scared that i might disappoint my parents. Some of the form 4s and form 5s told me, "alaa it's just PMR! It's nothing!" How can you say it's nothing!? Don't you care about your parents' feelings and dreams? Obviously the ones who said that didn't get straight As in PMR. It's not 'just PMR'. It's about my parents' dreams and i don't want to disappoint them. Please. Think before you speak.

So, 135 out of 240 students in my school got straight As and that was half of the form 3s. We targetted 168, tho. We dropped this year and our Bonda (that's what we call our principal) was sad about it. Yeah, i know it's quite a large amount to other people but obviously it's not to our Bonda.

When i was in form 1 and form 2, the most amount of As i got was 3As. Crazy, i know. I didn't study well back then. I didn't care about my studies at all and i often got Cs and Ds and even Es HAHAHA. My parents were very furious about it, they grounded me. So, i had to study in my room, couldn't watch TV and surf the internet the entire 2 months holiday in 2011. Then, when i got into form 3, i finally felt the pressure. I knew it was an important year as it was my PMR year. 8As was my goal. I got 6As 2Bs for my intervensi 1, 5As 3Bs for MidYear and 6As 2Bs for trials. No straight As. This year's achievement was indeed much better compared to my form 1 and form 2's.

So, juniors, if you're in my form 1 and form 2's situation, please don't ever give up. If you've never gotten straight As, that doesn't mean you won't get straight As for PMR. I admit, PMR isn't easy, I suck at memorizing things especially when it comes to studies. But if you do lots of exercises, insyaAllah you'll get what you want.

And thanks soooooo much (like, very much) to the teachers who have taught me. I owe you guys big time. I wouldn't even be on the stage, taking my 8As slip if it's not because of you. I really wish i could hug you guys yesterday but i found no one except for Pn. Azizah. I'm very grateful. Thank you again, teachers and to my tuition teachers, too :) I love you guys so much! :*

When there's a will, there's a way :)
